Vegan triathete Antoine Jolicouer Desroches fulfilled an ambition when he qualified for and competed at the World Half-Ironman Triathlon Championships as a Pro athlete. Not everything went well for him, although Antoine represented himself admirably and has already set himself higher targets. Read more here.
Jay has mad a rapid impact on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, taking emphatic wins in international brown belt tournaments before completing a rapid rise to black belt. In 2016, fighting at Brown Belt level, he took five Golds and was awarded his Black Belt. This took seven years, compared to the typical ten years. In his first year as a black belt he took three Bronze medals and two Gold. Read more here.
Performing at elite level in two different sports, sprinter and bodybuilder Julia Hubbard has recovered from a broken back to take nationally and internationally titles in both sports. As a vegan she has taken national Gold in British level sprinting three times, has won seven Pro cards in bodybuilding and taken dozens of category wins. Read more here
