Vegan ‘boarder wins national title
The Canadian won the Bell National Street Skateboarding Championships.
Micky Papa added to his collection with another National win.
The Championships judged skateboarders on difficulty, variety, style and how much of the course was used.
Micky is an Olympian, having skated at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He’s taken third at the World Skate Open and 8th at the World Championships.
He’s been vegan since 2017
He says “As I got older, an all-organic diet has been imperative to my lifestyle, and more recently I decided to go full vegan. I am seeing drastic differences in my health as well as my physical performance. Over the years, I have witnessed firsthand how these changes in diet can completely affect one’s quality of life.”
