Vegan boxer defends his world title
Vegan boxer Lawrence Okolie has defended his world Cruiserweight title with a comfortable win.

The 28 year old remains beaten after the win over previously unbeaten Dominican Dilan Prasovic. Media reports said the win was comfortable. Okolie had his opponent on the canvas in round 2 before stopping him in the third round. He now has 17 wins from 17 professional matches, of which 14 were won by knockout.
Okolie is known for his fitness, accurate jab and punching power.
Lawrence turned vegan in 2017. “They told me my energy levels would increase, so I tried it for one month. After that first month, I never looked back.”
“I eat all the wonderful fruit and vegetables out there” he says. “Rice, grains, basically stuff that gives me energy to train but then it’s not as hard to process in my body.”
“Before, I would balloon up in weight as soon as I had a fight but now it is easier to maintain.”
