Plant Based powerhouse takes European Arm wrestling title
The multiple world champion has triumphed at the European Championships in Romania.

Sasho Andreev has an enviable record in armwrestling, with 11 world titles and the same number of European titles. He’s just added to them with a convincing win at the European Championships in the 90kg category.
The left-handed win in the 90 kg category came without a single loss in the run-up to the final.
As the competition progressed he progressed to the final in the right-handed competition, again without loss. Again he won to take another European title.
Sasho has been vegan since 2019 after cutting out meat and then all animal products – both as part of an experiment.
He eats a lot of “lentils, beans, peas, rice, potatoes, vegetable soup or salad, olives, nuts, fruits”, and supplements are normally limited to a multivitamin. He adds a bit of protein powder in the lead up to a competition.
Armfight reported the win saying that Sasho “…proved himself unbeaten in his category after taking his 12th consecutive title and adding another Gold medal to his impressive collection. Sasho has solidified his status as one of the best in recent years by continuing to dominate unapologetically.”
