Angeline Retains Europe’s Strongest Woman Title With Back to Back Wins
Angeline Berva has continued her incredible success with another win at the Europe’s Strongest Woman.

Vegan strongwoman Angeline Berva has extended her phenomenal run of form with another major victory — successfully defending her title at Europe’s Strongest Woman just one week after a dominant performance at the Global Strongwoman Summit of Strength.
A Blistering Start: Three Event Wins at the Summit of Strength
At the Summit, Berva was in unstoppable form, winning three of the five events to secure a superb overall victory against a powerful international field. Her consistency edged out two‑time World’s Strongest Woman winner Erica Murray, marking one of the most impressive wins of her career.
Europe’s Strongest Woman: A High‑Calibre Line‑Up
Next came Europe’s premier strongwoman contest, organised by Official Strongman. The 82 kg category featured some of the sport’s biggest names, including Donna Moore, last year’s OSG European Champion and Ultimate World Champion.
Berva rose to the challenge with trademark precision and power. She claimed one event win and four second‑place finishes, securing the overall title by a clear four‑point margin.
Event Results
Her performance across the gruelling events showcased both strength and endurance:
- Deadlift ladder — completed a huge 230 kg lift
- Overhead dumbbell ladder — progressed to 60 kg
- Sandbag toss — launched a 15 kg bag over the high bar
- Shield carry — carried 120 kg for an impressive 72 metres
- Power stairs — climbed with weights up to 150 kg

Angeline was thrilled to retain her European crown. She has been vegan for 15 years, having made the change in 2011 after learning more about the realities of animal agriculture.
“I built my physique and my performance while being vegan. Many think the two are incompatible — not at all. You can very well be vegan and reach a high level.”
Her back‑to‑back wins reinforce that message powerfully: elite strength and vegan ethics can go hand in hand, and Angeline Berva continues to prove it on Europe’s biggest stages.
