Gold in Turin for vegan grappler!
He powered to the overall win in the Black Belt category

Vegan fighter Benjamin Tettu has taken another international win – at the Turin Open.
As part of the premier series in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he faced the elite in the black belt super heavyweight adult category.
The Swiss heavyweight started well as he quickly overpowered his opponent and won by submission in 40 seconds. In the final he had to fight to the end to win on points.
Vegan power
Benjamin has been vegan since 2018 and since then has won double Gold at the ADCC Swiss Open.
“I realised that consuming animal products causes serious harm to animals, and I did not want to participate in that. Once I understood that it was entirely possible to be vegan and healthy, I transitioned quite quickly.”
