Vegan champion retains his world title
Vegan boxer Lawrence Okolie has retained his WBO World Cruiserweight title.
The British fighter took a unanimous decision to continue his unbeaten status in 19 professional fights. Opponent David Light was unbeaten in 20 fights.
Lawrence was not entirely satisfied with his performance, which marks a change of trainers and a long break since his last title defence.
Lawrence stopped eating meat as an amateur and has been vegan since 2020. He recently was interviewed by Sky Sports about his veganism.
