Meagan adds another International medal
While she was fighting for votes in the final of Vegan Athlete of the Year, pairs skater Meagan Duhamel was competing in the Grand Prix in Barcelona.
Third after the short programme, they performed a strong second (long) programme to lead. A solid performance by the Russian pair who Meagan and her partner Eric Radford beat last year challenged this. The Russians edged ahead on points leaving Meagan and Eric in the Silver medal position.
This caps an amazing year for the pairs World Champions which includes a Canadian points record and wins in the NHK Trophy, Skate Canada and Autumn classic.
