Vegan swimmer takes national Gold
Israeli swimmer Or Tal has taken Gold at the National Swimming Championships.
The win is his second at senior level after moving up from Junior categories in 2019. He swam in the 400 metres freestyle and won in 3:47:88.
The 19 year old has been vegan for ten years and is supported by his vegan family. This includes his mother who plays a big part with meal preparations. His sports diet consultant Nir Fink is also vegan.
Or’s commitment to his swimming training is an example to everyone. His transition to the senior age group has been successful, and we look forward to following more successes in future.
