Vegan strongman Patrik Baboumian at FIBO Champions League
Vegan strongman Patrik Baboumian competed at the Europes largest fitness and physical culture fair FIBO on Saturday. This invitation only competition had some of the worlds best strongmen competing for qualifying places in the Worlds Strongest Man. In the mix were current world's second strongest man Vytautas Lalas and third strongest man Hafthor Björnsson. The rest of the field was not any easier.

Patrik had a succesful day placing tenth, beating all other German strongmen (including the reigning Germany's Strongest Man) and two other international level strongman athletes. Highlights of his achievements included winning a crucifix hold event, getting 8 repetitions with 140kg log press overhead, two repetitions with 350kg deadlift and so on.
This is a great start for his strongman season. Great Vegan Athletes and veganfitness.net will be keeping an eye on the progress!
Patrik told us "Never have I been so happy with a tenth place. In this field its a great result. I now know what my weak areas are and will train them hard. VEGAN POWER!"
