Vegan Grappler Luca Anacoreta Adds another Gold
The vegan grappler won again in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament.

Luca Anacoreta has added another international Gold to his collection with a win in the Bologna leg of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ace fought in the M2 veteran category and took the win.
He adds this to six IBJJF European titles and two FILA world titles.
As he moves into his late 40s, Luca still feels great and loves competing.
“I’ll stop when my body tells me to, but above all, when it stops making me feel good and alive” he says. “It’s not business, it’s passion!”
Luca is over ten years vegan. “I’ve always been an animal lover, so at a certain point I wanted to change because it seemed like the most coherent thing to do, and I’ve never regretted it!” he says.
He eats a lot of “rice, pasta, all kinds of vegetables, legumes, soy (tofu and tempeh), seitan.”
