Julia takes more silverware as a vegan bodybuilder
First she went to the North Atlantic & East Coast Championships with IPL (International Physique League). She entered three classes, all at Pro level: Athletic, Figure and Masters Evening Gown.

Multiple Pro Card holder and vegan bodybuilder Julia Hubbard has been busy again – this time fitting in two competitions in the USA.
Taking a win in Evening Gown and 2nd in both the Figure and Athletic classes, Julia was among the most successful competitors.
“I pushed the winner closer in the Athletic class and feel I can improve fairly quickly in this class.”
NGA East Coast Championships and ANBF Sunshine State
Six days later she was competing again. “I won The masters Figure (over 35) class. Then I took 2nd in the Open Pro Figure Class (all athletes).”
Julia also competed in amateur Bikini and Masters Bikini and won the Masters and the tall bikini open class. This put her in a head to head for the overall with the short class winner, which the other competitor won.
From there she went to compete in the ANBF Unaltered Sunshine State show, shere she took first in the Pro Figure category, making it a total of three wins and three seconds in this rapid tour.
These accolades come while more competitions are planned, and Julia has found ways of dealing with a lot of travelling.
“We have had some long road trips & flights and training mostly from hotel gyms- but generally training has gone well. We have found some great vegan restaurants and lots of vegan food in the supermarkets as we always book accommodation with kitchens so we can cook our own food.”
More travel and competition are planned, including four more shows in the Unites States, one of which is the NGA Universe International, the pinnacle of the NGA calendar.
