Here’s some late news from fell runner Helen Fines who has excelled in British and International events. In 2012 she was joint winner of the British Fell running championships.
In 2013 she continued her success in the gruelling events by finishing as joint winner again in the British championship and also as joint English champion.
Her success meant she was invited to compete in the World Championships with the English team. She helped England to a bronze medal, finishing sixth herself.
Helen’s endurance is legendary as not only are the vents extremely tough but she also has a demanding calendar of events.
