Angelina Berva Dominates Strongwoman Competition with New French Record
The French Champion returned to the site of her previous win to take another world title.

Angelina Berva continued her amazing impact on the sport of strongwoman with a win at the Extinct Games.
The four-times French Champion usually competes in the ~82 kg category, this time faced international opponents with no weight limits.
The two-event competition started with the 100 kg Axle Clean and Press for reps, where she managed three reps to take the win.
Next she faced the Max Axle Deadlift from the floor event. Aside from the weight, the acle is a wider bar which is harder to grip and the lac of rotation gives more difficulties.
As well as taking the win, Angelina set a new French record as she lifted 232.5 kg.
“This competition was really a competition where I didn’t think I could win because I competed in open with international strongwomen” Angelina told us. “This victory was therefore really a nice surprise.”
Angelina has been vegan for thirteen years.
“I have always loved animals and have always had pets. I have always been concerned about animal welfare. And I no longer found it normal to say that I loved animals even though I ate them.”
