Vegan fighter takes European title
The German Champion has won the European grappling title to add to his multiple national titles.

Max Urschl has won the national Championships several times, and now has taken on his peers in Europe. As a Black Belt in Brazillian Jui Jitsu he is a world-leading competitor in grappling sports and took the European title. Max is also an expert in Luta Livra, and has a black belt
He won his fights by submission.
Max turned vegan in late 2018 to avoid harming animals.
“I am vegan for the animals” Max says. “I am against animal exploitation, so I am vegan.”
Now into his 40s, he still retains excellent health and fitness and competes against younger men
He says:“The only thing I regret is that I haven’t switched to a vegan lifestyle sooner.”
