Anthony studies nutrition in detail and actively promotes veganism. "I changed to a vegan diet in 2006 and it has been the best thing I feel I have ever done in my life." wrote Anthony in 2009. "Not only is it what the worlds leading scientists are saying is the way forward for health, it saves animals from cruelty. If a client needs to lose weight these days it is very easy to accomplish this by getting them to follow a vegan diet, and eliminating processed, high sugar, high fat foods. I did not know the dangers of eating meat 3 years ago, until I started reading the latest research."
"Now, typical advice to clients coming to me for fitness and health-related training is... if you want to live longer, feel a greater sense of wellness than you have ever felt before AND make a leap forward in consciousness, eat a vegan diet."
"I am Vegan and proud not to be contributing to animal cruelty and violence. I also feel a Vegan diet to be the best way to stay lean, fit and healthy. The evidence really is conclusive: eating a nutrient-poor, junk food-based diet seriously negatively affects your health. More recently, evidence is now confirming fast that eating meat, and dairy-based products is disease producing."
