Michael has been a professional ice hockey player since 2001, and currently plays as a forward for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In 2011 he completed a move towards veganism. "I've gone full vegan this year[2011] and haven't really had much meat the last four years...I did a cleanse four years ago and It's kind of how it started."

At 6'3" and 116kg Georges is an imposing figure on the ice. After playing in lower leagues George started playing in the Canadian National Hockey league in the 1997-8 season, for Edmonton. During that time he gained a reputation as an aggressive player, and was unanimously named "Best Fighter" by Hockey News in 2003. In 2008 he signed for Montreal Canadiens.

Vegan since age 18, Andreas has become established in the highest level of the Swiss National League.
