Sarah is an international wheelchair basketball player and triple Paralympian with three medals from the Paralympics and seven national titles to her name. In 2012 she was included in the Australian squad where she won a third medal (Silver). She is also a teacher of Philosophy and has been vegan for many years. She has played in the Australian National League extensively, and was leading club points scorer in 2010.
Scott Jurek has excelled in the demanding world of extreme distance running, winning numerous races, setting course records proving the value of a purely vegan diet. He won the Hardrock 100 mile race 7 consecutive times, set numerous course records and has the American 24 hour distance record. He has broken the course record for the 2189 mile Appalachian Trail, and is described as the greatest ultramarathoner of modern times.
Seba Johnson is a Slalom skier who has represented her country at the Winter Olympics. She has been vegan since birth and has been groundbreaking in her sport as one of the youngest ever to compete in her sport at the highest levels. She competed in her first Winter Olympics aged just 14 and again when she was 18. She has also dealt with racial harassment at dangerous levels and gone on to educate people about issues including animal welfare and health.
Veganism is not common in Slovenia, although Sebastjan has excelled as a leading triathlete in the country. He has competed at European level and qualified for the world Ironman Championships. His Ironman PB is just over nne hours, and he is a member of the Slovenian amateur triathlon team. He also races mountainbikes and has completed a three hour marathon.

He's won the 2011 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona and has raced four times at 24 hours of Le Mans. In a career spanning over twenty years he has become established as one of the leading drivers in the US.
Since turning vegan in 2007, Swedish triathlete Stefhan Andersen has been national champion in the gruelling sport of triathlon. His preferred Half Ironman distance includes a 1900 m swim, 90 km on the bike then a 21 km run. Stefhan turned vegan to try to improve his resistance to illness, which seems to have worked.

Weia is a Dutch veteran athlete who has set multiple world records. She has excelled in the high jump and has competed in other sports. In 2016 she counted 23 world record breaking performances in different disciplines including heptathlon, triple jump and javelin. This came despite not competing at all until she was aged 45. Yassine Diboun has established himself as a successful unltramarathon runner who has competed against the best. He has ten victories at ultramarathon distance and numerous podium finishes as well as recording formidable 100 mile times. He's taken top ten finishes in high profile races such as the Hurt 100 and Western States 100 miles. Yassine and two friends set the record for the crossing of the entire State of Oregon. He's also broken the record for the Wildwood trail.
Yolanda has quickly made an impact on US powerlifting soon after taking up the sport. The determined vegan turned to powerlifting after competing in bodybuilding and soon broke the California State record for bench and squat, with the squat also giving her the US national record. She has since rebroken them both. Yolanda typically weighs in at the lower end of her weight category but is still the lifter to beat, proving an impressive strength to weight ratio.
Zak is a multiple state cycling champion with twenty six Elite National Championship Medals. He has five national titles, is a two time Team Pursuit National Champion and three time Pan Am National Champion. He's won the North American Cycle Championships twice He has accomplished all of his cycling acheivements on a vegan diet having gone vegan before the start of his career.
